Those are just to be hold in order to get an entry on the run for the prize, the 6 ones with most of them get the reward and 1 more that is chosen at random, purest of lucks, you could say (for this last entry option, only 1 cube is enough to be that lucky).

And V, don't get down on your hopes yet, they also released most of digi-destined by season, leaving the poor armadillo almost like forgotten for the last spot, and even not released right after any of the others. For me it's pretty understandable this delay, since even shoutmon battling more by xrosses that evolving, is closer to be a "normal" digi than these, it's a digital monster by birth, while these are closer to "armors" to suit on tamers. But still being digimons and having the game references to their season (the whole trailmon stuff), i'm pretty confident that sooner or later, we'll be "derpying" around like costumed in Carnival, lol.

The reward from the Omnimon event is probably gonna be an Omnimon BM item for the 6 lucky players, so that digitalic can test him out and see what people think about him. If not, then who the hell cares what it is(probably another crappy 3/5 digiegg or something)?
