Because it's not real Astamon, notice how it has 4 eyes in that pic. And a mask character (don't have good term for it) having a creepy face and creepy transformation is pretty common anyway.
Now... Digimon is entering its Sleep Mode again ~

If you said that with after Frontier or after Savers it's logical. But saying after 02, 02 which is at the time Digimon is still 4 years old as a franchise, and still has a pretty strong fanbase.... but this time all Digimon thingy that's still running is Re
